It does take a while to write though, especially my extended reviews like this one. I enjoyed coming up with the comparison between Repulsion and A Streetcar Named Desire as I thought both Blanche and Carol are very alike in terms of the experiences they have and the way in which both of them give in to their insanity towards the end.

I agree with you on that, these reviews really help in terms of meeting the demands of academic writing. Thank you :)

I have fixed that now, thanks for pointing it out :DSkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08522374485228228111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455899153101311269.post-88363119660320072152015-12-01T13:14:51.513-08:002015-12-01T13:14:51.513-08:00Bravo, Sky! Very much like the way you use Blanche and the device of the music as a means to enrich your review of Repulsion. I've been trying to get students to understand how these weekly reviews (which require you to use supporting evidence) are my small way of preparing you for your Contextual study units - and the challenge of academic writing more generally. I read this review and can feel real confidence that these are challenges you can meet with creativity and with confidence. Well done.

Oh - nitpick warning: not all your quotes are in italics...tutorphilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11842833126210822641noreply@blogger.com
